Do you believe that God can restore anything? Can God restore a broken marriage, a barren womb, a prodigal child, a lost job, a rundown business, a tarnished reputation? This may sound simple but what if your need for restoration requires nothing short of a miracle? Can He raise that dead relative, heal a terminal disease, save that child addicted to substance abuse or pornography, grant salvation to an elderly parent or grandparent whose sunset is drawing nigh?

Have you ever listened to people’s encounters with Jesus and longed for a great encounter too? Where God worked through human beings just in the nick of time to help His people. Where miracles happened or there was an experience of the supernatural. Oh how I long for such encounters! Perhaps the most amazing yet, was the ability to hear a person’s thoughts. It was during a retreat where we prayed so earnestly and fervently that we spent ourselves beyond our capacity.
How much is the most expensive thing you own? My father always said to us, “If you must buy a car, try your best to buy a “new” car from the bond”. Buying a new car would cost more money than a used car that was readily available, he added. However, buying a used car did not require a loan so we usually settled for those.
God cannot lie! How many times have you heard that scripture? Numbers 23:19 - God is not man that He should lie or the Son of man that He should repent. Does he speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? 2 Corinthians 1:20 - His promises are yes and amen. Jeremiah 29:11 - He knows the plans He has for you, to prosper and not harm. Yet some days we wish God could give us a clue about these plans.
We prayed earnestly before we made a trip asking the Lord to protect us from any evil that may befall us. We asked God to be a hedge of fire around us and make us a hedge of fire. During the trip, we encountered people who claimed to know God but secretly dealt in witchcraft.

Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their Savior. Psalm 24:3-5
